Tekken 8 Fighters Crash Into Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves

Tekken 8’s Reina is coming to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as the final Season Pass 3 DLC fighter, bringing another major crossover moment to SNK’s legendary fighting series. The character is scheduled to arrive in December 2026, though SNK has not yet announced a specific release date. The company also noted that the Season Pass 3 roadmap may change without advance notice.

Reina made her debut in Tekken 8 in January 2024 and quickly became one of the game’s standout newcomers. Known as the Purple Lightning, she was revealed as the final launch roster character ahead of Tekken 8’s release and has since built a strong following among fighting game fans.

Her backstory remains mysterious, with only a few key details confirmed. Reina is a student at Mishima Polytechnical School, but her personality and fighting style suggest there is much more beneath the surface. She often appears cheerful and confident, yet she can switch into a far more ruthless attitude during combat. In Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Reina’s story begins when she arrives in South Town and decides to enter the King of Fighters tournament out of curiosity.

Reina will be voiced by Kate Clarke in English and Asami Seto in Japanese.

SNK says Reina’s fast and aggressive Tekken-style combat has been adapted to work with Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ REV system. This should give her a unique feel that blends the pace and pressure of Tekken with the mechanics and rhythm of SNK’s fighter. For now, only a teaser trailer has been shown, and SNK has not revealed her full move list or detailed gameplay breakdown.

Reina completes the seven-character Season Pass 3 roster, which carries the theme “Destined for Revenge.” The lineup already includes Rick Strowd, Duck King, and Kim Kaphwan, who are available now. Mikey and Draken from Tokyo Revengers are set to arrive together on October 22, while Laocorn from Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture is planned for November. Reina will then close out the season in December 2026.

Her arrival also strengthens the long-running connection between Fatal Fury and Tekken. Geese Howard previously crossed over into Tekken 7 as a guest fighter in 2017, and now Reina is making the jump in the opposite direction. For fans of both franchises, this marks another exciting chapter in the relationship between SNK and Bandai Namco’s fighting game worlds.

Season Pass 3 is priced at $19.99 / €19.99 for players who already own Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. New players can purchase the Revenge Edition, which includes the base game along with Season Passes 1, 2, and 3, for $49.99 / €49.99.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Nintendo Switch 2 players can also preorder the digital Starter Edition, which includes the base game and all three season passes, for $29.99 / €29.99.

With Reina joining the roster, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is adding one of Tekken 8’s most popular newcomers while giving players another high-profile guest fighter to master. Her speed, attitude, and mysterious background should make her one of the most anticipated DLC additions of Season Pass 3.
