Teclast M60 Launches With 12-Inch 2K Display, Android 17, 4G LTE and Budget Pricing
Teclast has introduced the M60, a new affordable Android tablet designed for users who want a large display, mobile connectivity and everyday performance without spending premium-tablet money. After arriving in Japan, the tablet has now launched in China, giving buyers another low-cost option for streaming, reading, browsing, navigation, online learning and light productivity.
The Teclast M60 is built around an 11.97-inch IPS In-Cell display with a 2,000 x 1,200 resolution. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, which should make scrolling, app switching and supported content feel smoother than a standard 60Hz panel. Teclast also includes eye-protection and reading modes, making the tablet more comfortable for longer reading sessions or late-night use.
With its large screen, the M60 is aimed at entertainment and everyday multitasking. It supports screen casting, allowing users to mirror content to compatible displays. The tablet also supports Widevine L1, meaning it should be able to stream supported video services in higher quality where available.
Despite its near-12-inch display, the Teclast M60 keeps a relatively slim body. It measures 282 x 177 x 8mm and weighs around 600g, making it portable enough to carry in a backpack while still offering a screen size closer to a small laptop than a compact tablet. The device includes dual speakers, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack, a useful feature for users who still prefer wired headphones.
Powering the tablet is the Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS storage. For users who need more space for videos, documents, apps and offline media, the M60 supports microSD card expansion up to 2TB. Virtual memory support is also included, allowing part of the storage to be used as additional memory when needed.
For cameras, the Teclast M60 features a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP camera for video calls, online classes and casual selfies. While this is not a camera-focused tablet, the setup should be enough for scanning documents, attending meetings and basic photography.
One of the tablet’s biggest advantages is connectivity. The M60 supports dual-SIM 4G LTE, making it useful for people who need internet access away from Wi-Fi. It also includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2 and multiple satellite navigation systems, including GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS and Galileo. This makes it suitable for travel, in-car navigation and location-based apps.
Battery life is handled by an 8,000mAh battery. While some larger tablets offer bigger batteries, this capacity should still be suitable for daily use such as streaming, web browsing, reading and communication. The balance between battery size, weight and tablet thickness helps keep the device practical for regular use.
The M60 runs Android 17 out of the box, giving buyers access to a modern software experience with current Android features and app compatibility. For users looking for a budget Android tablet with a large display and cellular support, this could be one of its strongest selling points.
Compared with the smaller Teclast T60 Mini, the M60 offers a much larger screen but uses a less powerful chip. The T60 Mini features an 8.8-inch 2.5K display and a faster Unisoc T7300 processor. The M60, however, is better suited for those who prioritize screen size over raw performance.
The M60 also sits close to the Teclast T60 Pro in some areas, especially with its 12-inch-class display and 8,000mAh battery. However, the T60 Pro uses a more powerful MediaTek Helio G99 processor, making it the stronger choice for users who need better gaming or multitasking performance. The M60 appears positioned as the more affordable large-screen alternative.
In Japan, the Teclast M60 is priced at ¥39,900, which is roughly $252. A launch promotion reduces the price to ¥21,900, or about $138, using the coupon code 2026M60A17, while supplies last. In China, the tablet is available for 899 yuan, around $134, with some buyers able to get it for as low as 755.65 yuan through national subsidies.
Teclast has also listed the M60 on its global website, although international pricing and wider availability have not yet been confirmed.
Overall, the Teclast M60 looks like a practical budget tablet for users who want a large 2K display, Android 17, expandable storage, 4G LTE and a slim design at a low price. It may not be the fastest tablet in its category, but for streaming, reading, browsing, video calls, navigation and everyday entertainment, it offers a strong feature set for the money.
