TCL C10M True Wallpaper TV Launches With SQD-Mini LED Display, 4K 150Hz HDMI, and Ultra-Slim Wall Design
TCL has introduced the C10M, a new wall-mounted television designed to look less like a traditional TV and more like a sleek digital canvas. The biggest attraction is its ultra-thin body, which measures just 3.99cm across the entire frame. Unlike many slim TVs that still have a thicker rear section, the C10M is built to sit almost flush against the wall, giving it the “True Wallpaper” look TCL is promoting.
The C10M is powered by TCL’s SQD-Mini LED display technology. SQD stands for Super Quantum Dot, and the system is designed to improve how the screen layer and Mini LED backlight work together. Instead of relying on a more conventional RGB Mini LED setup, TCL says this approach helps reduce color banding and distortion across different types of video content.
One of the headline display claims is full 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut, which points to a very wide color range for movies, games, sports, and high-quality streaming content. For viewers who care about richer colors and more accurate image reproduction, this is one of the C10M’s strongest selling points.
The backlight system includes 2,304 local dimming zones. TCL describes the setup as “one pearl per zone,” meaning each dimming zone can be controlled independently. In real-world viewing, this should help improve contrast, keeping bright highlights intense while preserving detail in darker scenes. The TV also uses an AI light-color co-control chip to manage brightness and color processing in real time.
Inside, the TCL C10M runs on a new-generation TSR AI light and color control chip. The hardware includes a quad-core Cortex-A73 CPU, an IMG CXM GPU, and an NPU rated at 1.0 TOPS for AI computing performance. The chip reaches a main frequency of up to 1.5GHz. TCL has paired this with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Audio is another major part of the package. The C10M comes with Onkyo Hi-Fi speakers and supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Users can also combine the TV’s speakers with a compatible soundbar for a fuller audio setup, which could make the C10M more appealing to home theater buyers who want immersive sound without relying entirely on external equipment.
On the software side, the TV runs TCL’s LingKong System 3.0. TCL says the platform does not include boot-up ads, which may be a welcome detail for users who dislike interruptions when turning on their TV. The system also integrates DeepSeek’s Fuxi AI model, bringing deeper AI features into the smart TV experience.
Connectivity is well covered. The C10M includes USB 3.0, USB 2.0, an Ethernet LAN port, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, and four HDMI 2.1 ports. Two of those HDMI ports support 4K at 150Hz, while the other two support 4K at 60Hz. That makes the TV especially interesting for console and PC gamers who want high refresh rates, smooth motion, and modern HDMI bandwidth.
TCL is launching the C10M in China in three sizes. The 65-inch model starts at 12,999 yuan, which is about $1,800. The 75-inch version is priced at 15,999 yuan, or around $2,370. The largest 85-inch model costs 19,999 yuan, roughly $2,960.
While the C10M brings TCL’s SQD-Mini LED technology into a striking wallpaper-style design, the technology itself is not entirely new. TCL previously introduced SQD-Mini LED on its higher-end X11L Series, which offered even more advanced specifications, including up to 20,736 dimming zones, 10,000-nit peak brightness, and a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system.
Since then, TCL has expanded SQD-Mini LED across more of its TV lineup, including models such as the Q7D Pro, C7L, T7M Pro, and T7M Ultra. Availability and pricing can differ depending on the market, and TCL has not yet confirmed whether the C10M or all related SQD-Mini LED models will launch outside China.
With its slim wall-hugging design, wide color coverage, advanced local dimming, 4K 150Hz support, and AI-powered image processing, the TCL C10M is clearly aimed at buyers who want a premium Mini LED TV that doubles as a modern interior design piece.
