Sony has officially confirmed the price and pre-order details for its PlayStation 27-inch gaming monitor, giving PS5 and PC players a clearer look at one of its newest gaming accessories. The company also revealed launch details for the FlexStrike fight stick, its first officially branded arcade-style controller for PlayStation 5 and PC.
The PlayStation 27-inch gaming monitor was first shown quietly last year, but Sony has now shared the key information buyers were waiting for. The display is priced at $350 and will be available for pre-order starting June 5. It will be sold through the PlayStation website and Best Buy, with availability limited to the United States and Japan.
Designed with both console and desktop gaming in mind, the monitor features a 27-inch QHD IPS panel with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. On PC and Mac, it supports refresh rates of up to 240Hz, making it a strong option for fast-paced competitive games. When connected to a PS5 or PS5 Pro, the monitor supports up to 120Hz with variable refresh rate, helping deliver smoother gameplay with less screen tearing.
Sony has also included Auto HDR Tone Mapping, a feature that helps optimize HDR settings automatically when paired with a PlayStation 5 console. This should make setup easier for players who want improved contrast and color without spending time adjusting display settings manually.
The monitor includes built-in stereo speakers, two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 connection, two USB Type-A ports, and one USB Type-C port. There is also an optional DualSense Charging Hook accessory that can be attached to the monitor stand, giving players a convenient way to store and charge their controller near their setup.
Alongside the monitor, Sony also confirmed details for the FlexStrike fight stick. This is PlayStation’s first official fight stick for PS5 and PC, aimed at fighting game fans who prefer an arcade-style control layout. The FlexStrike will cost $200, with pre-orders opening on June 12.
Unlike the gaming monitor, the FlexStrike fight stick will have wider availability. Sony plans to release it in the United States, Japan, and European markets through its official store and select retailers.
At $200, the FlexStrike enters the market at a competitive price compared with several other premium fight sticks and leverless controllers. That could make it an appealing choice for players who want an official PlayStation fight stick without moving into the higher price range often seen with tournament-grade arcade controllers.
The timing of Sony’s announcement is also notable, as it comes just before the next State of Play presentation. More details about the PlayStation gaming monitor and FlexStrike fight stick could appear during the event, especially as Sony continues expanding its lineup of accessories for PS5, PS5 Pro, and PC players.
With a $350 QHD 240Hz monitor and a $200 official fight stick, Sony appears to be targeting gamers who want PlayStation-branded hardware beyond the console itself. The monitor could appeal to players building a compact PS5 or PC gaming setup, while the FlexStrike is likely to attract fighting game fans looking for an official controller built for arcade-style play.
