Sharge Takes Aim at Anker Nano with a Pocket-Size 40W Fast Charger

Sharge is expanding its lineup of compact charging accessories with a new 40W fast charger that’s clearly aimed at people considering the popular Anker Nano-style power bricks. The big hook is its ultra-portable size paired with a design that leans heavily into Apple-inspired aesthetics—right down to a look that resembles an Apple AirPods charging case.

According to Sharge, this 40W adapter is about 30% smaller than Apple’s standard mobile power brick, making it an easy fit for pockets, small sling bags, and travel kits. The charger also features a foldable plug, which helps reduce bulk and makes it less likely to snag on other items when tossed into a bag.

On the performance side, Sharge is advertising 40W fast charging. While that’s slightly below the newest 45W options on the market, the company claims the output is still strong enough to charge an iPhone 17 Pro to 50% in around 20 minutes. Inside, an AVS chip is said to monitor temperature frequently to help maintain lower operating temperatures for safer, more stable charging during fast-charge sessions.

Design is a major part of this product’s appeal. Sharge notes that the charging indicator is styled to match the familiar LED found on the AirPods case. The body uses rounded corners and metallic edging around the charging port to reinforce that premium, Apple-like feel. And while it doesn’t include a built-in display, Sharge is positioning customization as part of the fun, suggesting users can personalize the exterior with stickers.

As for availability, Sharge hasn’t provided a firm launch date yet. For now, the company is only indicating that the charger should arrive in China soon, with more details likely to follow closer to release. For anyone searching for a small, travel-friendly USB-C fast charger with a stylish, Apple-inspired design, this new Sharge 40W adapter looks like a model to watch.
