Sennheiser Unveils Accentum Clip: Open-Ear TWS Earbuds With Hi-Res Sound and All-Day Comfort

Sennheiser Accentum Clip open-ear earbuds bring clip-on comfort, LDAC audio, and long battery life

Sennheiser is preparing to expand its true wireless earbuds lineup with the Accentum Clip, a new pair of open-ear TWS earbuds designed for listeners who want comfort, awareness, and secure fit without fully blocking the ear canal.

Unlike traditional in-ear earbuds, the Sennheiser Accentum Clip uses a clip-on design that rests around the ear. This makes it a practical option for users who prefer open-ear audio for commuting, office use, outdoor walks, or workouts where hearing surrounding sounds is important. The secure fit is also intended to help the earbuds stay in place during movement, making them suitable for active lifestyles.

To improve the listening experience, Sennheiser has equipped the Accentum Clip with 12 mm dynamic drivers. The earbuds also feature Dynamic EQ technology, which automatically adjusts the sound output to help keep music energetic and balanced. This should make playback feel more lively across different genres, from podcasts and acoustic tracks to pop, rock, and workout playlists.

Although open-ear earbuds are often associated with sound leakage, Sennheiser says the Accentum Clip uses internal damping and a specially designed sound path to help reduce unwanted audio spill. This could make them more comfortable to use in quieter spaces, such as offices, libraries, or public transport, without disturbing people nearby.

For wireless performance, the Accentum Clip supports Bluetooth 6.0 and the LDAC codec. When using LDAC, the earbuds are said to reproduce audio from 20 Hz to 40 kHz, with total harmonic distortion below 0.5%. This positions them as a more premium option for users who want open-ear comfort without giving up higher-resolution wireless audio support.

The earbuds also come with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. That means they should be able to handle sweat, light rain, and everyday exposure to dust, making them a dependable choice for gym sessions, jogging, cycling, or casual outdoor use.

Battery life is another strong point. Sennheiser claims the Accentum Clip can last up to 9 hours on a single charge, while the charging case extends total playback time to up to 36 hours. This should be enough for several days of normal listening before needing to recharge the case.

The Sennheiser Accentum Clip true wireless earbuds are expected to launch in late July 2026. Once available, they should appeal to users looking for comfortable open-ear earbuds with a secure clip-on fit, Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, LDAC support, IP54 protection, and long-lasting battery life.
