Samsung has officially unveiled the much-anticipated Galaxy S24 FE, a budget-friendly alternative that offers premium features without the hefty price tag of the flagship Galaxy S24. This new model serves as a bridge between the high-end Galaxy S24 and the affordable A35 series, catering to users looking for a balance between performance and cost.
The Galaxy S24 FE boasts several noteworthy upgrades. One of the most significant changes is its striking 6.7-inch display, the largest ever seen in the Fan Edition series. The display offers a crisp, smooth experience with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits, making it excellent for outdoor use.
In terms of design, the S24 FE opts for flat sides all around, a departure from the more rounded edges of its predecessor. This gives the device a sleeker, more modern look. Under the hood, the S24 FE is powered by the Exynos 2400e processor and offers 8GB of RAM, with storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB. The phone is equipped with a 4,700mAh battery that supports both 15W wireless charging and 25W wired charging.
The camera setup remains consistent with the previous model, featuring a 50MP wide camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 10MP front camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens with OIS. Samsung has also integrated its Galaxy AI features, including Circle to Search, Portrait Studio, Live Translate, and more, enhancing the overall user experience.
The Galaxy S24 FE is available in four colors: Blue, Gray, Graphite, and Yellow. It’s priced at $649 for the base storage model and is available for pre-order starting today. The new model will officially hit the shelves on October 3rd.
Samsung’s Galaxy S24 FE combines flagship-level specifications with affordability, making it an attractive option for those who want high performance without breaking the bank.
