Samsung has expanded its lineup of mid-range smartphones with the introduction of the new Galaxy F15 5G. This latest addition is set to enrich the market alongside the Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G models but stands out with its own distinct features.
The Galaxy F15 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, which is equipped with four ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores, four Cortex-A55 CPU cores, and a Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. This is similar to the Galaxy A15 5G configuration launched earlier in the year. However, the Galaxy F15 5G distinguishes itself with two memory options, with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage space.
Another highlight is the device’s powerful 6,000 mAh battery, a significant enhancement from the 5,000 mAh battery found in the Galaxy A15 5G. This ensures users can enjoy extended usage without the constant need for charging.
The smartphone’s display is a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel that boasts a 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. For photography enthusiasts, the Galaxy F15 5G comes equipped with an array of cameras, including a 50 MP primary camera, a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 13 MP front-facing camera.
In an impressive commitment to longevity, Samsung states that the Galaxy F15 5G will receive five years of security patch updates and will be eligible for four significant operating system updates, starting with Android 14.
As of now, the Galaxy F15 5G has been launched exclusively in India, with the price for the 4 GB RAM model starting at INR 11,999 (approximately $145), while the 6 GB RAM variant is priced at INR 13,499 (around $163). Both models feature 128 GB of internal storage.
For those looking to purchase a mid-range Samsung smartphone, the Galaxy F15 5G on Amazon could be a compelling consideration with its robust features and long-term update support.
