Users with the 4G international variant, identified by model number SM-A135F, will be the first to receive this update, which is designated with the build number A135FXXS6DXB1.
The update is primarily focused on security and does not introduce any new features, bug fixes, or performance enhancements according to the changelog. Galaxy A13 owners should expect to receive an update notification prompting them to install the new security patch. If the notification hasn’t appeared, users can manually check for the update by navigating through ‘Settings’ to ‘Software update’, then selecting ‘Download and install’.
For those who are comfortable with manual installation, the firmware is also made available for download and can be applied thanks to tools like Odin. As updates tend to be released in stages to ensure a smooth rollout, some users may need to wait a bit longer before it reaches their device.
The Galaxy A13 was originally launched with Android 12 (One UI 4.0) and has since received consecutive OS updates as part of Samsung’s commitment. Although it will not be upgraded to Android 15 (One UI 7.0), Samsung ensures continued support through security updates until 2027.
