Samsung Locks In NVIDIA G-Sync Support for 2026 OLED TVs and Odyssey Gaming Monitors

Samsung is doubling down on smooth, tear-free gameplay in 2026. The company has confirmed that its upcoming high-refresh OLED TV lineup and its latest Odyssey gaming monitors will be NVIDIA G-Sync compatible, helping games look cleaner and feel more responsive by syncing the display’s refresh rate with your GPU’s frame output.

Samsung says the focus is simple: deliver a consistently great gaming experience across different types of players and play styles. For gamers, that promise translates into one of the most noticeable upgrades you can make to a screen—reducing screen tearing and minimizing distracting visual artifacts, especially during fast camera pans, quick turns, and competitive matches where clarity matters most.

NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility is coming to multiple 2026 Samsung OLED TVs, including the S95H, S90H, and S85H. These models target different budgets and performance needs while keeping gaming at the center of the experience.

The flagship S95H is positioned as Samsung’s most advanced 48-inch OLED TV for 2026, offering a 165Hz refresh rate along with built-in Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound for more immersive audio that follows on-screen action. The S90H also reaches 165Hz, while sitting slightly below the S95H in areas like brightness and select premium features. For those who still want OLED picture quality with strong gaming chops, the S85H rounds out the lineup with up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

Beyond G-Sync compatibility, Samsung is also including AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support on these TVs, giving gamers added flexibility depending on their hardware and setup. On top of that, the 2026 OLED lineup introduces HDR10+ Advanced, which is designed to improve brightness, contrast, and motion clarity—three key factors for making HDR games look punchy and detailed without sacrificing smoothness.

On the monitor side, Samsung’s 2026 Odyssey lineup is also getting the G-Sync treatment, led by the newly launched Odyssey G6 models: the G60H and G61SH. Both monitors feature 27-inch screens and HDR10+ gaming support, aiming to deliver vivid highlights and better scene-to-scene detail in compatible games.

The Odyssey G60H is the headline-grabber for esports and high-FPS enthusiasts, offering extremely high refresh rates—up to 1,040Hz. It includes a QHD 600Hz mode for sharper competitive play, and a lower-resolution option that pushes refresh even further, tailored for players who prioritize maximum motion clarity and responsiveness above all else.

The Odyssey G61SH is positioned as a more cost-effective alternative, targeting mainstream gamers with a QHD 240Hz mode—a sweet spot that still feels exceptionally fast while keeping image detail high for everyday gaming.

With NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility across both its 2026 OLED TVs and Odyssey monitors, Samsung is clearly aiming to make high-refresh gaming smoother and more accessible—whether you’re playing cinematic single-player titles on a living-room OLED or chasing every millisecond in competitive matches on a high-speed monitor.
