Samsung Galaxy F15 5G Emerges with Specs Remarkably Similar to A15 on Geekbench

The Samsung Galaxy F15 5G is anticipated to be the latest addition to Samsung’s mid-range smartphone lineup in India. However, leaked benchmarks suggest its specifications may not be all that different from existing models.

The device, presumed to be the Galaxy F14 5G’s successor, was spotted on Geekbench displaying stats that paralleled the already available Galaxy A15 5G. With both handsets showing the same Android 14 operating system, 4GB of RAM, and a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset – featuring 6 ARM cores at 2GHz and 2 cores at 2.3GHz – they are nearly twins in terms of hardware.

The only identifiable difference between the two is that the A15 5G lists a motherboard code-named a15x, whereas the Galaxy F15 5G specifies a motherboard with the moniker m15x. This tiny differentiation hints that the device might be marketed as the M15 5G later in the year.

It remains to be seen whether the new model will match or surpass the current Galaxy F14 5G’s price point, which is listed at INR 18,490 (roughly $223) but is presently discounted to INR 12,999 (approximately $157) on some retail platforms.

The emerging details pose interesting questions about Samsung’s approach to differentiation within its smartphone ranges and the significance of the F series in the Indian market. Consumers and industry watchers alike will be interested to see how the Galaxy F15 5G will be positioned in terms of features, pricing, and performance upon its anticipated release.
