Samsung’s next budget-friendly 5G phone may have just shown its hand ahead of schedule. After recent leaks hinted at upcoming Galaxy A27, Galaxy A37, and Galaxy A57 models, attention has now shifted to the Galaxy A07 5G—expected to be the most affordable of Samsung’s next wave of Galaxy A-series smartphones.
Current signs point to Samsung aiming for a February 2026 launch window for this new lineup. While nothing is official yet, early benchmark information is already offering a peek at what the Galaxy A07 5G could bring to the table.
A leaked Geekbench listing suggests the Galaxy A07 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM. That memory amount is likely the entry-level option. If Samsung follows the pattern seen with the Galaxy A07 4G in some regions, additional versions with 6GB or even 8GB of RAM could also arrive depending on the market.
On the software side, the listing indicates Android 16 out of the box. That strongly suggests Samsung will ship the phone with One UI 8, rather than waiting for a later mid-cycle update.
For now, several key details are still missing. The design hasn’t leaked yet, so it’s unclear whether Samsung will refresh the look of the device or keep it close to previous budget Galaxy models. Pricing is also unknown, but given the “A07” positioning, it’s likely to be marketed as a low-cost entry point into Samsung’s 5G ecosystem.
If the leaks are accurate, the Galaxy A07 5G could end up being a straightforward, affordability-first phone designed for buyers who want 5G connectivity, a modern Android version, and reliable everyday performance without moving into midrange pricing. As we get closer to 2026, more concrete details—especially around the display, cameras, battery size, and final RAM/storage options—should fill in the gaps.
