After a 16-year hiatus, the Cyclone series makes a triumphant return with the release of the RTX 5060 8G Cyclone. But stealing the spotlight for compact design is the new RTX 5060 8G INSPIRE ITX from MSI, measuring just 145mm in length.
In today’s tech landscape, single-fan budget and mid-range GPUs have become increasingly rare due to their high thermal demands. Yet, MSI is reviving interest by delivering not just one, but two innovative designs. The INSPIRE ITX is a standout with its minimalistic shroud, perfect for ultra-compact systems. Despite its diminutive size of 145mm by 120mm, it packs a single-fan cooling system crafted for efficiency.
Simultaneously, MSI reintroduces the beloved CYCLONE series. Originally launched in 2009, this design has been absent for a while but is now back with the GeForce RTX 5060 8G CYCLONE OC. It features a single fan placed centrally, flanked by two copper heat pipes, maintaining a compact footprint of 161mm by 125mm.
Both the INSPIRE ITX and CYCLONE models are built to fit snugly into ITX cases, offering powerful performance enhancements. The RTX 5060 8G CYCLONE OC boasts a boost speed of up to 2527 MHz and can reach 2535 MHz in Extreme Performance mode through the MSI Center app. Meanwhile, the INSPIRE ITX offers boost speeds of up to 2497 MHz and 2512 MHz in Extreme Performance mode.
These releases mark an exciting moment for enthusiasts seeking compact yet robust GPU solutions, signaling MSI’s commitment to both innovation and classic design.
