Rollme’s $39.99 Smartwatch Promises a Wild 100-Day Battery Life—Here’s the Big Claim

Rollme has introduced the PowerX, a new budget smartwatch priced at $39.99 that’s aimed squarely at entry-level buyers who want big features without a big spend. On paper, the PowerX makes some ambitious promises for the price, led by an extra-large battery, water resistance, and an unusual built-in torch designed for outdoor use.

The headline feature is its 1,100 mAh battery, which is far larger than what you typically see in a smartwatch at this cost. Rollme claims the PowerX can deliver more than 100 days of standby time. That figure will likely depend heavily on how you use the watch, especially with Bluetooth 5.2 running and health tracking enabled. The PowerX uses a low-power 8773EWE processor commonly found in budget wearables, which may help stretch battery life, but everyday real-world performance usually lands below best-case standby ratings.

Design-wise, the PowerX comes in a 53 mm case built from a mix of zinc alloy and plastic. Rollme markets it as “military-grade,” though there’s no mention of official MIL-STD certification or testing details to verify specific durability standards. It does, however, offer a 5 ATM water resistance rating, which generally means it should handle rain, splashes, and surface swimming, but it’s not intended for high-pressure water activities.

One feature that helps the PowerX stand out from other cheap smartwatches is its dedicated dual-light torch system. Instead of relying on a bright white screen as a flashlight, it includes white and red LEDs with adjustable brightness, plus a strobe mode for emergencies. There’s also an audible SOS alarm, which could be useful for hikes, camping, or anyone who wants a simple safety-focused tool on the wrist.

For daily smartwatch basics, the PowerX includes a 1.53-inch display with a 360 x 360 resolution. Health tracking is handled by the HX3918 heart-rate chip, supporting common metrics like heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen measurement, and sleep tracking.

Rollme says the PowerX is available now through its official store, with a launch promotion that adds a stainless steel strap for the first 100 orders. At $39.99, the PowerX is clearly trying to win attention with specs that sound more premium than the price suggests—though the real deciding factor will be how well battery life, tracking accuracy, and durability hold up outside the spec sheet.
