Get ready for the arrival of Tecno’s newest flagship, the Camon 40 Premier 5G. Leaked information reveals that this mid-range Android smartphone is set to make its debut with a design that mirrors high-end aesthetics. Notably, it will feature an advanced telephoto lens, fast-charging capabilities, and NFC connectivity.
The design of the Camon 40 Premier 5G is said to adopt a style reminiscent of the Oppo Find X8 Pro, straying from the previous OnePlus 13-style camera layout. This sleek model boasts a round camera module placed centrally on the rear panel, featuring a total of four lenses, including a square-shaped one. This suggests a continuation of the periscope zoom capabilities seen in its predecessor, the Camon 30 Premier, albeit with a promised “60x Zoom” likely to be digital rather than optical. There’s anticipation about whether the 40 Premier will enhance its camera specs beyond previous offerings.
In terms of performance, the Camon 40 Premier is expected to come with a robust 12GB of RAM and a minimum of 256GB of internal storage. While its charging speed remains akin to the Camon 30 Premier with 70W Flash Charging, it is still poised to compete fiercely in the mid-range market, possibly excluding some rivals like the Realme 14 Pro+ in terms of power.
Though there hasn’t been any update on its battery capacity, another sibling, the Tecno CM6 (or 40 4G), has already received certification in Thailand, suggesting its launch could be imminent. As anticipation builds, tech enthusiasts are eager to see how Tecno’s latest offering will stand out in a competitive market.
