Japanese graphics card maker Sycom has unveiled its latest Silent Master series, which includes the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, 5070, and 5060 models. These graphics cards come equipped with premium Noctua cooling fans, renowned for their exceptional cooling performance. This collaboration between Sycom and Noctua brings top-tier cooling and noise reduction to the forefront of the market.
These new models showcase Sycom’s minimalist design philosophy, contrasting with more extravagant offerings from other manufacturers. The Silent Master series features a dual-fan setup, full-metal shroud, a robust heatsink with three 6mm copper heat pipes, a sturdy metal backplate, and a zero-decibel mode for absolute silence when idle.
Sycom’s rigorous internal testing highlights the exceptional quietness of these cards. When under load, the Silent Master series operates at a mere 34.9-35.9 decibels, and at idle, they maintain a low 31.4 decibels. This is a significant reduction compared to the typical 46-47 dB(A) observed in similar graphics cards.
As for temperature management, the RTX 5060 Ti in the Silent Master series peaks at 79.1 °C with an average temperature of 76.2 °C. Meanwhile, the RTX 5070 reaches a peak of 81.8 °C with an average of 77.4 °C, and the RTX 5070 Ti peaks at 81.6 °C with an average of 76.5 °C.
In terms of specifications, Sycom adheres to reference clock speeds across all models. The RTX 5060 Ti features a 2.5-slot design with two Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM fans running up to 2200 RPM, while the RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti boast larger 3.5-slot and 3.8-slot designs, featuring Noctua NF-A12x25 LS-PWM and PWM fans respectively. The sizes vary, with the 5060 Ti measuring 250x120x44mm, while the larger models are 315x145x66mm.
These cutting-edge graphics cards will be available through OEMs and system integrators, used primarily in pre-built PCs, so direct pricing remains unspecified. However, considering their advanced cooling and silent performance, a premium may be expected. Sycom also offers its own lineup of pre-built systems featuring these innovative graphics cards.
