At the recent Computex event, AURAS, a leading Taiwanese cooling manufacturer, unveiled its latest cooling innovations for AMD and NVIDIA GPUs, along with an exciting water-cooled motherboard design. Known for providing top-tier cooling solutions to various graphics card and OEM partners, AURAS went all out to showcase its cutting-edge technology.
One of the standout products was the NVIDIA GeForce “RTX 5090/Next Module” cooler. With a staggering 600W cooling capacity, this triple-fan beast comes in a 3.75-slot form factor. It integrates a vapor chamber and innovative square-section heat pipes to enhance thermal performance. Complete with RGB lighting, this cooler is ready for not just the RTX 5090, but potentially the next-gen series, anticipated to top out at 600W TDP—a claim that builds excitement among tech enthusiasts.
AURAS also showcased a cooling solution for the AMD Radeon RX 9070 from the RDNA 4 lineup, supporting up to 350W TDP. This solution features a triple-fan, 2.8-slot design and boasts seven double-condenser heat pipes, ensuring high-efficiency airflow with minimal thermal resistance. RGB LEDs add an extra flair to its aesthetic appeal.
In addition to GPU coolers, AURAS introduced an innovative motherboard cooling solution featuring comprehensive liquid cooling. This design, showcased on a prototype with an AMD AM5 socket, includes a full-cover liquid cooling system for both MOS (VRM) and M.2 areas. A transparent acrylic cover with integrated LED lighting adds to its visual allure, and it’s compatible with a range of custom-loop solutions thanks to universal G1/4″ threaded fittings. Intel socket versions are also in the pipeline.
Another highlight was AURAS’s new AIO CPU cooling system, which works with both Intel and AMD platforms. Sporting a 360mm aluminum radiator, it offers up to 253W of cooling capacity, along with low-noise operation, ARGB lighting, and a sleek Infinity Mirror design.
Rounding up their showcase, AURAS displayed heatsinks for the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, supporting cooling capacities of up to 600W and 400W respectively. The RTX 5090 version features 11 square-section heat pipes and vapor chamber cooling, while the RTX 5080 variant comes with 9 heat pipes. Both designs include triple-fan setups, with the 5090 model in a 3.75-slot layout and the 5080 in 3.2-slot.
AURAS truly emerged as a standout at Computex, making waves with its innovative cooling solutions and capturing the attention of tech enthusiasts and industry insiders alike.
