Realme P4 Lite 5G Debuts with a Massive 7,000mAh Battery and Smooth 144Hz Screen

Realme is keeping its momentum in the affordable smartphone space with another budget-friendly launch in its P4 series. The new Realme P4 Lite 5G is now official, aiming to deliver a strong mix of everyday performance, a high-refresh display, and a massive battery at an accessible price.

If the phone sounds familiar, there’s a reason. The Realme P4 Lite 5G is essentially a rebranded version of the recently introduced Realme C83, which means the core specifications are nearly identical. Realme does give this model a slightly refreshed look, though, updating the rear panel with a new mosaic-style design that helps it stand out in the lineup.

Powering the Realme P4 Lite 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. For buyers who prefer extra space for photos, apps, and media, the phone also supports microSD expansion. On the software side, it runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. Realme says the phone will receive two major Android OS updates (up to Android 18) along with three years of security patches.

On the front, the phone features a large 6.8-inch display with a 1570 x 720 resolution. It also includes a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 900 nits of peak brightness, which should help with smoother scrolling and better visibility in brighter environments compared to typical entry-level screens.

One of the biggest highlights is the battery. The Realme P4 Lite 5G packs a huge 7,000mAh cell, designed for users who want long endurance without constantly reaching for a charger. Charging is capped at 15W wired, and the phone also includes bypass charging and reverse OTG charging support, adding extra flexibility for certain use cases.

For cameras, Realme includes a dual rear setup led by a 13MP main camera, accompanied by a secondary sensor that hasn’t been specified. On the front, there’s a 5MP selfie camera for basic video calls and casual selfies.

Realme also adds a few practical extras that budget buyers often look for, including a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 5. To help with sustained performance, it includes an airflow vapor chamber cooling system with a 5,300 sq mm heat dissipation area.

Pricing keeps the phone firmly in the affordable 5G category. The Realme P4 Lite 5G comes in Mosaic Blue and Mosaic Green. The base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model starts at INR 12,999 (around $140), while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs INR 15,999 (around $171). Sales begin March 25 through Realme’s official website and authorized retail partners.
