Racing Master is gearing up for a full global release on May 8, 2026, bringing its simulation-focused racing to iOS and Android players across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Developed by NetEase Games in collaboration with Codemasters, the title has been in the works since 2021 and has already spent years in regional testing before making this wider Western push. Pre-registration is now open on both the App Store and Google Play ahead of launch day.
One important note for returning players: this global rollout uses separate server infrastructure from existing Asian, Latin American, and Japanese versions of the game. That means progress from those regions won’t transfer over. For players in the newly supported territories, though, the May launch is a clean starting line and a chance to jump in on equal footing.
Racing Master is aiming to stand out in a mobile market still dominated by arcade-style racers. Instead of leaning into exaggerated drifting and boost-heavy spectacle, it pushes for a more realistic feel—an approach that’s backed by Codemasters’ involvement in the handling and physics. The game also puts a major emphasis on authenticity, including engine audio captured from real cars rather than synthesized sound design.
Car lovers will find plenty to chase, with a lineup of more than 120 officially licensed vehicles spanning over 30 brands. Expect names that define modern performance culture, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, Aston Martin, and Koenigsegg. That roster, paired with the game’s simulation ambitions, positions Racing Master closer to a console-style experience than most mobile racers currently competing for attention.
Tracks are another major selling point. Racing Master features a mix of real-world circuits and street courses, giving players both classic racing venues and more scenic, city-driven routes. Confirmed locations include Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Red Bull Ring, Yas Marina Circuit, and Shanghai International Circuit, alongside street settings inspired by places like Chicago, San Francisco, Barcelona, Sicily, Amsterdam, and the Alps. Adding to the challenge is dynamic weather across all tracks, which can shift traction and braking points during a race and force players to adapt on the fly.
To make the experience more accessible, the game supports three different control schemes: virtual buttons, tilt steering, and a virtual wheel. Whether you prefer a more traditional on-screen setup or want a more tactile feel through motion controls, Racing Master is built to accommodate different playstyles without locking players into a single approach.
The timing of this release is also strategic. With major mobile racing staples fading from the scene in recent years, there’s been a noticeable opening for a high-quality mobile sim racer that can hold long-term attention. Racing Master is clearly designed to fill that gap, and its performance in Asia suggests it has the momentum to try. During its regional launches, the game climbed to the top of free game charts in multiple markets, earned Game of the Year recognition in several regions, and held the number one spot on iOS download charts for 10 straight days in key territories.
For players who participated in the closed beta, there’s an extra incentive waiting at launch: a 150% rebate on in-game purchases returned in Gems when the global version goes live.
Racing Master will be free to play when it launches worldwide on May 8, 2026. If you want to be ready when the lights go out, pre-registration is already available on iOS and Android.
