Potential Pricing of Upcoming Apple iPad Pro OLED Models Surfaces

There’s a buzz around the tech community suggesting Apple’s anticipated release of the iPad Pro with OLED screens is just around the corner, potentially bringing a fresh look to the tablet lineup. Recent information indicates that starting prices for the new iPad Pro models could be more affordable than previously anticipated, with the entry-level option ringing up at around $959. This price point suggests a 20% increase over the previous generation’s starting price.

The new iPad Pros are rumored to debut after March 19, coinciding with the advent of spring, and are said to come with a host of upgrades, including a revised design that would be the first major change since 2018. A notable feature of the upcoming models is the integration of OLED display technology that is reportedly different from current OLED applications. This innovative design is expected to include two stacked OLED panels that enhance brightness and extend display life. Despite the improvements, these enhancements are likely to hike production costs and, subsequently, retail prices.

Reports suggest that the price for the new OLED iPad Pros will be approximately $160 more than their predecessors across different SKUs. Even though this indicates a price increase, it remains a modest adjustment compared to what was previously rumored. For example, the most basic 11-inch model is projected to cost $959. Conversely, some of the more expensive models, such as the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with 5G and 2 TB of storage, could witness less than a 7% price rise, potentially reaching $2,559.

Apple fans and tech enthusiasts alike are keen to see the official announcement for precise pricing and availability, as the brand is known for its innovation and is expected to introduce refinements such as a new Magic Keyboard accessory along with the redesigned iPad Pro.
