Google Pixel 11 UK pricing leak points to higher entry cost and smaller Pro batteries
Fresh leaks have shed more light on Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 lineup, including expected UK pricing and battery capacities for the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL. While some storage variants may appear slightly cheaper than last year’s equivalent models, the removal of a lower-storage option could make the series feel more expensive for many buyers.
According to the latest information, Google is expected to launch the Pixel 11 series in the UK with 256GB of storage as the starting configuration for the standard Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro. That means shoppers may no longer have access to a cheaper 128GB entry-level model.

Google Pixel 11 Pro XL with 256GB storage: £1,279
On paper, the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro with 256GB storage may cost £20 less than the comparable Pixel 10 models with the same storage capacity. However, because the 128GB versions are reportedly being dropped, the actual starting price for both phones could rise by around £80 compared with the previous generation’s cheapest options.
The biggest price change appears to affect the Pixel 11 Pro XL. Unlike the smaller models, the Pixel 10 Pro XL already started with 256GB of storage, yet the new Pixel 11 Pro XL is rumored to be £80 more expensive than its predecessor. If accurate, this would make the Pixel 11 Pro XL £200 more expensive than the Pixel 11 Pro, widening the gap between Google’s two premium models.
Battery capacity details have also surfaced, and the changes are smaller than some earlier rumors suggested. The standard Google Pixel 11 is expected to receive a very slight battery increase, moving up by 15 mAh to 4,985 mAh.
The Pro models, however, may see minor reductions. The Pixel 11 Pro is rumored to feature a 4,850 mAh battery, down by 20 mAh from the previous model. Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro XL could come with a 5,115 mAh battery, a decrease of 85 mAh.
These reductions are relatively small and may not have a major impact on real-world battery life. Factors such as chipset efficiency, display tuning, software optimization, and AI-powered power management could still allow the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL to deliver strong endurance despite slightly smaller batteries.
The Google Pixel 11 series is expected to be officially revealed at Google’s launch event on August 12. That announcement should confirm final UK pricing, storage options, battery specifications, camera upgrades, processor details, and any new AI features planned for Google’s next-generation smartphones.
If the leak proves accurate, the Pixel 11 lineup could be a mixed bag for buyers. The move to 256GB as the baseline storage option may be welcome for users who need more space, but it also raises the cost of entry. Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro XL looks set to become a more premium-priced flagship, making the choice between the Pro and Pro XL models more important than ever.
