PIONER open beta is live on Steam, inviting players into a tense, post-apocalyptic MMO where tactical gunfights, survival mechanics, and faction politics collide. Set in the ruined remnants of a Soviet-inspired world, PIONER drops you into regions plagued by deadly anomalies and simmering faction conflicts. Instead of racing to level up, progression hinges on smart resource management, careful planning, and high-quality gear. Crafting is central to survival, scavenging is essential, and earning favor with powerful factions unlocks strategic advantages. Combat favors a slower, more deliberate approach: tense first-person firefights that reward patience, positioning, and precision.
The open beta includes around 30 hours of content, covering the first five acts of the main campaign and a wide selection of multiplayer activities:
