PANGIT Gears Up for Action as Playtest Sign-Ups Go Live

PANGIT Steam Playtest Opens Ahead of Autumn 2026 Prologue Release

Independent developer DiezLife has opened registration on Steam for the first public playtest of PANGIT, an upcoming single-player third-person action game set in a broken and dangerous vision of Eastern Europe. The playtest is currently planned to begin in autumn 2026 and will feature a fully updated prologue with approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of gameplay.

Set in the year 2047, PANGIT takes place after a devastating global economic crisis has reshaped the region into a hostile Buffer Zone. Once part of Eastern Europe, this sealed-off territory is now controlled by the Unified Border Control Service, where law, order, and survival have all taken on a much darker meaning.

Players step into the role of a former special agent sent into the restricted zone on a covert mission. His task seems straightforward at first: infiltrate an abandoned research facility and rescue the daughter of the organization’s director. However, the mission quickly spirals into something far more dangerous, uncovering traces of a mysterious infection, a hidden labyrinth, and secrets tied to the protagonist’s own past.

PANGIT blends third-person combat, stealth, exploration, and survival-focused resource management. Players will move through semi-linear locations filled with abandoned buildings, hidden pathways, and environmental clues. Supplies are limited, making every item and crafting material valuable. As players explore, they can gather resources, upgrade gadgets, and create consumable items to improve their chances of surviving the Buffer Zone.

The game also includes hacking sequences built around puzzle-style mini-games, adding another layer to exploration and progression. Careful players may discover hidden rooms, secret stashes, and valuable supplies by paying attention to the environment and solving clues scattered throughout each area.

With its mix of atmospheric world-building, tactical gameplay, stealth mechanics, and mystery-driven storytelling, PANGIT is shaping up to be an intriguing title for fans of single-player action games with survival elements. The autumn 2026 playtest will offer an early look at the game’s updated prologue and give players a chance to experience the tone, mechanics, and setting before the full release.

DiezLife currently plans to launch the complete version of PANGIT in 2027. The exact playtest start date, end date, and number of available participant slots have not yet been announced.
