Oppo Enco X4 Debuts With Dynaudio-Tuned Dual Drivers, Stronger ANC, and 53-Hour Battery Life
Oppo has unveiled its latest flagship true wireless earbuds, the Enco X4, bringing meaningful upgrades in sound quality, noise cancellation, call performance, and battery life. Introduced alongside the Oppo Find X10 series, the new earbuds succeed the Enco X3 and aim to compete in the premium wireless audio market with high-resolution playback, adaptive ANC, and a refined acoustic design.
At the heart of the Oppo Enco X4 is a fourth-generation dual-driver system developed in collaboration with Dynaudio. Each earbud features an 11mm dynamic woofer for low frequencies and a 6mm tweeter for clearer highs. Oppo has also retained the dual-DAC crossover architecture from the previous generation, while redesigning the internal acoustic structure to reduce distortion and improve bass response.
The Enco X lineup has built a reputation for clean, balanced audio, and Oppo says the Enco X4 pushes that signature even further. The earbuds are tuned with input from Dynaudio and are designed to deliver a natural, pure listening experience inspired by high-end Hi-Fi speakers. For users upgrading from basic wireless earbuds, the Enco X4 should offer a noticeable jump in clarity, separation, and overall sound detail.
Noise cancellation is one of the biggest upgrades this year. Oppo claims the Enco X4 can deliver up to 200% better noise reduction than the Enco X3, based on the company’s internal testing. The earbuds use a new 6nm NPU and an adaptive active noise cancellation system that automatically adjusts based on the surrounding environment. Whether you are commuting, working in a café, or walking outdoors, the earbuds are designed to fine-tune noise blocking in real time.
There is also a Conversation Awareness mode, which detects when the user starts speaking. When activated, it lowers the music volume and adjusts the ANC so conversations can happen more naturally without needing to remove the earbuds.
For audio enthusiasts, the Oppo Enco X4 supports Hi-Res 48kHz/24-bit audio streaming. The earbuds also support LHDC for high-resolution Bluetooth audio, along with AAC and SBC codecs for broader device compatibility. Spatial audio support is included as well, offering a more immersive listening experience for supported content.
Users can also access several Dynaudio-tuned EQ presets through Oppo’s companion app, allowing them to adjust the sound profile based on personal preference or music genre.
Call quality has been improved with a new microphone setup. The Enco X4 uses four beamforming microphones, including a VPU bone-conduction microphone, combined with AI-powered voice separation. This setup is designed to isolate the speaker’s voice while reducing background noise during phone calls, video meetings, and voice recordings.
Battery life is another major highlight. Oppo rates the Enco X4 for up to 13 hours of playback from the earbuds alone with ANC turned off. With the charging case, total battery life reaches up to 53 hours. That is a solid improvement over the Enco X3, which offered up to 43 hours of total playback.
The earbuds also support both wired and wireless charging, making them more convenient for everyday use.
Other premium features include Bluetooth 6.1, multipoint connectivity across Android and iOS devices, IP55 dust and water resistance, touch and swipe gesture controls, and head gestures for answering or rejecting calls. Oppo has also added AI-powered live translation through the HeyMelody app, which could make the earbuds useful for travel and multilingual conversations.
The Oppo Enco X4 is launching first in China with a price of CNY 1,199. Color options include Pink Gold, Soft White, and Titanium Grey. A wider global release is expected, although Oppo has not yet confirmed an official international launch date.
With Dynaudio-tuned dual drivers, stronger adaptive ANC, high-resolution audio support, improved call quality, and long battery life, the Oppo Enco X4 looks like a serious upgrade for anyone looking for premium wireless earbuds in 2026.
