Oppo has officially pulled the curtain back on the Reno 15 Pro Mini, a compact smartphone that aims to deliver a “small phone, big specs” experience without stepping into ultra-premium flagship pricing. With a pocket-friendly size, a high-end display, and a powerful mid-range chipset, the Reno 15 Pro Mini is positioned to appeal to buyers who want performance and portability in one device.
At the center of the phone is a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 2640 x 1216 resolution. Oppo is also targeting smooth everyday use with a 120Hz refresh rate, which helps scrolling, animations, and gaming feel more fluid. Brightness is another highlight, reaching up to 1,800 nits in full-screen mode, which should make the display easier to view outdoors or under harsh lighting.
Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, putting the Reno 15 Pro Mini among the quicker options in the mid-range smartphone segment. This should translate into snappy app performance, capable multitasking, and solid temperature and power efficiency for typical daily use.
Connectivity is modern and flexible as well. The phone supports both a nano SIM card and an eSIM, making it convenient for users who juggle work and personal numbers or travel frequently. On the wireless side, you get WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 for faster connections and improved accessory support.
Oppo also includes practical features that many users expect in 2026: a fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking and Android 16 out of the box. One detail that hasn’t been confirmed yet is the software support policy, as Oppo hasn’t specified how long the Reno 15 Pro Mini will receive Android version upgrades and security updates.
Price and availability details are currently focused on India, where the Reno 15 Pro Mini will launch first. Buyers can choose between a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model priced at roughly $670, or a 12GB RAM + 512GB storage option for about $725. Oppo hasn’t shared any official information yet about release dates or pricing for other regions, so anyone waiting for a wider launch will need to stay tuned for updates.
