Oppo Unveils a 50W Wireless Charger with Integrated Cooling for Faster, Cooler Power-Ups

Oppo has pulled back the curtain on its latest wireless charging accessory in China: the Oppo 50W Magnetic Turbo 2 Wireless Charger. Designed as a refreshed take on the company’s earlier 50W magnetic charger, this new model focuses on faster charging, better temperature control, and a more flexible day-to-day setup.

At the center of the upgrade is its claimed up to 50W wireless output. That level of power is positioned to top up compatible Oppo and OnePlus phones in under 90 minutes, making it a strong option for anyone who wants the convenience of magnetic wireless charging without giving up too much speed compared with wired charging.

To help keep performance consistent, the charger includes a built-in cooling system aimed at reducing overheating during high-wattage charging sessions. Oppo also adds more control with three selectable modes: a standard charging mode, a silent mode for quieter operation, and a heat dissipation mode that prioritizes cooling. This makes it easier to match the charger’s behavior to different situations, like overnight charging, working at a desk, or quickly topping up before heading out.

Compatibility is another key talking point. According to the product listing, the 50W Magnetic Turbo 2 Wireless Charger supports both Apple and Android devices, which could make it a practical choice for multi-device households or users who switch between platforms.

In terms of design and usability, the accessory keeps a compact, round form factor and arrives in a Mist White finish. It’s powered via USB-C, aligning with modern charging setups and making cable replacement simpler. Oppo also includes a desktop stand that the charging puck can mount to, turning it into a phone stand while charging. That’s useful for video calls, notifications, or simply keeping your screen visible at your workspace.

As for availability, Oppo is expected to release the 50W Magnetic Turbo 2 Wireless Charger in China alongside the upcoming Oppo Find N6 foldable phone. There’s no confirmed word yet on international rollout, so it’s unclear if or when it will reach other markets where the previous model has been sold.
