OPPO is turning up the hype ahead of its April 21 launch event, officially confirming a long list of headline features for the OPPO Find X9 Ultra in a Weibo teaser. From a high-end 2K 144Hz display to a massive 7,050mAh battery and satellite communication, the company is positioning this phone as a tough, performance-focused flagship built for gaming, endurance, and reliability.
One of the biggest highlights is the screen. OPPO says the Find X9 Ultra will use a 2K display panel made with X3 luminescent material, designed to stay comfortable even in darker environments. A minimum brightness of just 1 nit should make late-night use easier on the eyes, while the 144Hz refresh rate aims to deliver ultra-smooth scrolling and responsive gameplay. OPPO also mentions pixel-level gamma correction and adjustable display comfort options, suggesting extra tuning for visuals and reduced strain depending on your preference.
Powering the Find X9 Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Ultra, paired with OPPO’s own Tide Engine. According to OPPO, this combination is built to maintain a steady 144Hz frame rate across popular mobile game styles such as MOBA titles, tactical FPS games, and survival shooters. In other words, the company is targeting gamers who want high refresh rate performance without frame drops during intense action.
Battery life could be another major selling point. OPPO has confirmed a large 7,050mAh battery, supported by a proprietary energy-concentrating chip and a self-developed spherical silicon-carbon anode material. For charging, the Find X9 Ultra is set to support 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, giving users multiple options to top up quickly.
Connectivity is also getting an upgrade for people who travel or spend time in areas with weak coverage. OPPO says the Find X9 Ultra includes a dedicated chip for mountain and sea communication, enabling calls and text messages via dual satellites when traditional mobile networks aren’t available.
On the durability side, OPPO is leaning into rugged flagship territory. The phone is confirmed to feature crystal shield glass, dual symmetrical speakers, and a bionic vibration motor for more immersive audio and haptics. It also carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, meaning it’s built to resist dust, handle immersion in water, and withstand high-pressure water jets. OPPO adds that the device has passed a Swiss SGS five-star drop and shock resistance test, further emphasizing toughness for everyday accidents.
OPPO has also confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will arrive alongside the Find X9s Pro on April 21. Pricing and regional availability haven’t been detailed yet, but with these official specs now public, the launch event should fill in the remaining gaps.
