Oppo Reno15 FS 5G Lands in Europe With a 50MP Selfie Camera and Massive 6,500mAh Battery

Oppo has officially brought the Reno15 FS 5G to Europe, and it’s arriving with a feature set designed to appeal to buyers who want strong battery life, fast charging, and plenty of storage without jumping into flagship pricing.

The headline upgrade is the massive 6,500 mAh battery, which is paired with 80W USB-C fast charging. In everyday terms, that combination aims to reduce battery anxiety and downtime: Oppo says the phone can charge from 1% to 100% in just under an hour. That’s a big selling point for anyone who relies heavily on their phone throughout the day and wants quick top-ups between meetings, commutes, or travel.

To keep the price more competitive, wireless charging is not included. For many shoppers, that trade-off may be acceptable considering the large battery capacity and the fast wired charging speed, especially at this price point.

Out of the box, the Oppo Reno15 FS 5G ships with Android 16. Oppo also suggests the phone should stay smooth for up to five years, which will catch the attention of buyers who want their device to feel fast and responsive over the long haul. However, it’s still unclear exactly how many years of Android version updates and security patches the company will provide, since Oppo hasn’t confirmed a formal update policy for this model.

Pricing and availability should be straightforward for European buyers. The Reno15 FS 5G is already listed for purchase through Oppo Italy in a single configuration: 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, priced at €469 (around $550). In France, Oppo lists 27 January as the launch date, indicating wider regional availability is rolling out now.

With a 6,500 mAh battery, 80W fast charging, Android 16, and a large 512GB storage option, the Oppo Reno15 FS 5G positions itself as a practical mid-range 5G phone for users who prioritize endurance and fast charging above extras like wireless charging.
