Oppo Pad Air 6 Nears Launch as Fresh Details Surface

Oppo Pad Air 6 Moves Closer to Launch With 5G, 4G and Wi-Fi Models Spotted

Oppo appears to be getting ready to introduce its next affordable tablet, the Oppo Pad Air 6, in China this November. The device is expected to debut alongside the Reno 17 series, and a new certification listing suggests that Oppo may launch several versions of the tablet to suit different connectivity needs.

The upcoming tablet has surfaced in China’s 3C certification database with four separate model numbers: OPD2611, OPD2603, OPD2614 and OPD2613. These listings point to different variants, including models with mobile network support and Wi-Fi-only options.

According to the certification details, the OPD2614 model includes 5G connectivity, which means it could arrive as the Oppo Pad Air 6 5G. Meanwhile, the OPD2611 model is listed with 4G support. The remaining two models, OPD2603 and OPD2613, do not show cellular connectivity, making them likely Wi-Fi-only versions.

Oppo has not yet confirmed the official names for these models, so the final branding may vary when the tablet is announced.

The certification also reveals that the Oppo Pad Air 6 lineup may support two different charging speeds. The OPD2611 and OPD2603 models are rated for up to 5-11V/4.1A, which translates to around 45W fast charging. The OPD2614 and OPD2613 models are listed with up to 5-11V/3A, or roughly 33W charging.

The listings also mention VCB4JBCH and VCB4HACH power adapters, suggesting Oppo may bundle or support different chargers depending on the tablet version.

Beyond hardware, Oppo has started teasing some of the software features expected on the Pad Air 6. One highlight is an updated Notes app designed to make productivity easier. Users will be able to insert images into notes with a single tap, making the tablet more useful for studying, planning, sketching and organizing ideas.

Oppo has also shown features aimed at content creators. The tablet will allow users to transfer vlog footage directly into CapCut’s media library. Another demonstration shows video clips being added to an editing timeline with just one tap, which could make the Pad Air 6 a practical option for quick mobile video editing.

The Oppo Pad Air 6 will follow the Oppo Pad Air 5, which arrived with a 12.1-inch 2.8K display, a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset and a large 10,050mAh battery. At this stage, it is still unclear whether the Pad Air 6 will keep a similar display and battery setup or introduce bigger hardware upgrades.

Reservations for the Oppo Pad Air 6 have already started in China. Oppo is offering a ¥1 reservation option that includes a promotional package with a protective case, the Oppo Pencil 2 and one year of screen protection. The company is also preparing student discounts and trade-in offers, which could make the tablet more attractive to early buyers.

For now, Oppo has not announced the full specifications, official pricing or international availability of the Pad Air 6. More details are expected closer to its launch in November.
