OneXPlayer used its latest launch event to unveil two big additions for portable PC gaming: the X1 Air handheld and the compact OneXGPU Lite eGPU. Together, they target players who want powerful on-the-go performance with the flexibility to scale up at a desk.
OneXPlayer X1 Air: Lunar Lake power in a 3-in-1 handheld
The X1 Air brings Intel’s Lunar Lake Core Ultra Series 2 processors to a versatile 3-in-1 design that transforms between handheld, tablet, and laptop. It ships with removable controllers and a magnetic keyboard dock, so you can jump from couch gaming to productivity without switching devices.
Under the hood, buyers can choose between the Core Ultra 5 228V and Core Ultra 7 258V. Both chips use a mix of four performance cores and four low-power efficient cores, with the Ultra 5 boosting up to 4.5 GHz and the Ultra 7 up to 4.8 GHz. Graphics come from Intel’s latest Battlemage architecture: the Ultra 5 pairs with an Arc 130V iGPU featuring 7 Xe2 cores up to 1.85 GHz, while the Ultra 7 steps up to an Arc 140V with 8 Xe2 cores up to 1.95 GHz. This new integrated graphics generation aims to deliver class-leading performance for a handheld PC.
The rest of the platform is equally ambitious. You get 32 GB of LPDDR5x-8533 memory, up to 2 TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage, and a sizable 72.77 Wh battery. Up front is a 10.95-inch 2560×1600 touch display with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 540 nits brightness for vibrant visuals whether you’re gaming or streaming.
Connectivity and I/O include dual USB 4 Type‑C ports, one USB 3.2 Type‑A, a 3.5 mm headset jack, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.2, and an 8‑ohm/1 W stereo speaker setup tuned by Harman. Alongside the handheld, OneXPlayer announced the OneXGPU Lite, a more compact external GPU enclosure built around AMD’s Radeon RX 7600M XT. With no RDNA 4 mobile parts on shelves yet, RDNA 3 remains the go-to choice for laptops and eGPUs, offering strong 1080p and 1440p performance in a power-efficient package.
The RX 7600M XT inside the Lite variant features 32 compute units and 2048 cores on a 6 nm process, clocking up to 2.3 GHz at 120 W. It’s backed by 32 MB of Infinity Cache and 8 GB of GDDR6 on a 128‑bit bus running at 18 Gbps, delivering up to 288 GB/s of bandwidth.
Despite its smaller footprint, the OneXGPU Lite doesn’t skimp on connectivity. It offers:
