OnePlus Unveils Affordable Smartphone Promising Up to 2.5 Days of Battery Life

OnePlus N6x Launches in India With a Massive 7,000 mAh Battery and Budget Pricing

OnePlus has expanded its N-series lineup in India with the launch of the OnePlus N6x, a new budget-focused smartphone designed for users who want long battery life without spending too much. The device enters the affordable 5G phone segment with a large 7,000 mAh battery, Android 16-based OxygenOS 16, and two stylish color options: Burgundy Red and Ice Blue.

The biggest highlight of the OnePlus N6x is its battery. OnePlus says the 7,000 mAh cell can deliver up to 2.5 days of mixed usage on a single charge, making it an appealing option for students, travelers, and heavy smartphone users who do not want to carry a charger everywhere.

According to the company’s estimates, the phone can offer up to 20.56 hours of video playback, 133.56 hours of music playback, 25.04 hours of social media use, and 11.26 hours of continuous video recording. These numbers position the OnePlus N6x as a strong battery-endurance smartphone in its price category.

However, charging speed is more modest. The device supports 15 W charging, which may feel slow considering the large battery size. It also includes 5 W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge smaller accessories or another phone in emergencies.

Under the hood, the OnePlus N6x is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset. To help keep performance stable during longer use, gaming, or streaming, OnePlus has equipped the phone with a 5,300 mm² vapor chamber for thermal management.

The phone comes with 4 GB of RAM and is available in two storage options: 64 GB and 128 GB. While the RAM capacity is basic by current standards, the device is clearly aimed at buyers who prioritize battery life, everyday performance, and affordability over high-end specifications.

For photography, the OnePlus N6x features a simple camera setup. It has a 13 MP rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, there is a 5 MP selfie camera for video calls and basic selfies.

OnePlus has also included several AI-powered imaging features, including AI Portrait, AI Eraser, and AI Unblur. These tools are designed to help users improve photos by enhancing portraits, removing unwanted objects, and sharpening blurry images.

The OnePlus N6x runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, giving buyers access to the latest software experience from the brand. The interface is expected to offer a clean design, useful customization features, and smooth day-to-day usability.

In India, the OnePlus N6x is priced at Rs. 18,999 for the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage model. The 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage version is priced at Rs. 20,999. OnePlus is also offering a Rs. 1,500 discount with select bank cards, along with no-cost EMI options for eligible buyers.

Sales of the OnePlus N6x begin on August 4 through Amazon India. With its massive battery, modern software, 5G-ready chipset, and attractive color choices, the OnePlus N6x could appeal to buyers looking for a dependable everyday smartphone with excellent battery backup in the budget segment.
