OnePlus Teases the OnePlus 15 in Sun-Kissed Sand Dune

OnePlus 15 Sand Dune colorway teased with premium materials and a fresh design twist

OnePlus is building hype for its next flagship by drip-feeding details ahead of launch, and the latest teaser focuses on a striking Sand Dune color option for the OnePlus 15. Official images shared by the company show a pale brown finish inspired by desert landscapes, alongside a notable design change: unlike the previous generation, the camera module shown does not carry the Hasselblad logo.

Color choices are expected to total three at launch: Sand Dune, Black, and Purple. What sets Sand Dune apart isn’t just the color—it’s the construction. OnePlus says this version uses an aerospace-grade nano-ceramic metal frame. According to the company, the material is 26.3% lighter than titanium, 134% harder, and offers 26.6 times better heat dissipation than titanium. The other two colorways are tipped to feature a different, slightly heavier frame.

Brands occasionally reserve premium materials for specific color variants, and that often comes with a higher price. Expect the Sand Dune model to sit at the top of the range and potentially be tied to higher RAM and storage configurations, mirroring how special finishes have been handled in the past.

There’s no confirmed launch date yet, but with official renders already live, an announcement shouldn’t be far off. Keep an eye out for final details on pricing, full specifications, regional availability, and whether the Sand Dune finish will be exclusive to certain memory tiers. If design, durability, and thermal performance are high on your wish list, the Sand Dune OnePlus 15 looks set to be the headline option.
