OnePlus Teases Fresh Details About Its Next Budget-Friendly Smartphone

OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro Launch Date Confirmed With 8,000mAh Battery, 144Hz AMOLED Display, and Android 16

OnePlus is preparing to expand its affordable smartphone lineup with the upcoming OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro, and the company has now confirmed when the device will officially debut. The new phone is scheduled to launch in China on June 10, 2026, at 14:30 local time, bringing a mix of large battery capacity, fast performance, and premium-style features to a more accessible segment.

The OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro is shaping up to be a strong option for users who want long battery life, a smooth display, and dependable everyday performance without stepping into flagship pricing. One of its biggest highlights is the massive 8,000mAh battery, which should make the phone especially appealing to heavy users, mobile gamers, travelers, and anyone who dislikes charging their phone multiple times a day.

To complement the large battery, OnePlus has confirmed support for 80W fast charging. The device will also support bypass charging, a useful feature for gaming or extended use while plugged in, as it can help reduce heat and battery wear. Reverse wired charging is also included, allowing the phone to share power with other compatible devices when needed.

The display is another major selling point. The OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro features an AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, offering a sharper viewing experience than standard Full HD panels. It also supports a 144Hz refresh rate, which should deliver smoother scrolling, more responsive gaming, and an overall fluid feel across the interface. OnePlus has also confirmed a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, suggesting the screen should remain highly visible even in bright outdoor conditions.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Super chipset. This octa-core processor is built on a 4nm process, which should help improve efficiency while still delivering solid performance for multitasking, gaming, streaming, and daily app usage. The phone will be available with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, giving users enough room for apps, games, photos, and videos.

For photography, the OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro is confirmed to include a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization. OIS is an important addition because it helps reduce blur in photos and improves stability when recording video, especially in low-light or handheld shooting situations. While the full camera setup has not yet been detailed, the confirmed main sensor suggests OnePlus is focusing on reliable everyday image quality.

Durability also appears to be a major focus for this device. The OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. These ratings indicate a high level of protection against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water exposure, making the phone more resilient than many devices in its expected price category.

Other confirmed features include NFC for contactless payments and quick pairing, an IR blaster for controlling supported home appliances, stereo speakers for improved audio, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking. On the software side, the phone will run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, giving users access to the latest Android platform features along with OnePlus and Oppo’s software enhancements.

With its large battery, fast charging, high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, durable build, and modern chipset, the OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro looks positioned to stand out in the affordable smartphone market. More details, including pricing and availability outside China, are expected to be revealed during the official launch event on June 10.
