OnePlus Pad 3 Rumored to Feature Enhanced Charging Speed and Expanded Battery Capacity

Excitement is in the air as OnePlus hints at the release of a new tablet model expected to make waves in 2025. The buzz revolves around OnePlus potentially launching the “Pad 3,” a device rumored to boast faster charging capabilities than its predecessors.

Reports indicate that the new tablet will not only feature rapid charging but also come with a slightly upgraded battery size. However, it might not see as significant a boost as the company’s flagship smartphones. This expected enhancement could mean more convenience and longer usage times for avid tablet users.

A sister company, Oppo, is anticipated to introduce the Pad 4 Pro as its new flagship tablet in China by April 2025. Following this launch, there’s speculation that the tablet might be rebranded under OnePlus for global consumers as the Pad 3. This upcoming device is expected to pack the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, marking a notable upgrade from the 8 Gen 3 found in the OnePlus Pad 2.

Currently, the Pad 2 supports 67W SuperVOOC charging, which is considered relatively fast for a tablet. However, rumors suggest that the upcoming Pad 3 Pro might elevate this speed to 100W SuperVOOC, enhancing efficiency for users on the go. Additionally, this tablet is expected to house a battery exceeding 10,000mAh, a step up from the Pad 2’s 9,510mAh capacity.

Speculation also teases a twin model powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 or 9400+. Furthermore, one of these high-end versions might feature an OLED display, while the other could present an LCD screen. The specifics of which model gets which display type remain undisclosed.

Finally, for enhanced security, both tablets are expected to incorporate side-mounted fingerprint readers and depth sensors for better facial recognition capabilities. Watch this space for more details as excitement builds around the upcoming OnePlus tablet innovations.
