Samsung Electronics is on track to meet Nvidia’s certification for its advanced 12-layer HBM3E memory. Despite this technological achievement, industry insiders suggest it won’t translate into immediate financial benefits. SK Hynix, having already achieved early qualification, has secured a majority of the orders and currently dominates the supply chain. Samsung is anticipated to meet Nvidia’s quality standards by the end of 2025, although shipment volumes are expected to be limited at that time.
