Nothing CMF Speaker S and Speaker M arrive with waterproof design, Auracast, and budget pricing
Nothing has introduced two new CMF Bluetooth speakers that aim to deliver portable sound, modern wireless features, and a playful design at an affordable price. The new CMF Speaker S and CMF Speaker M stand out with a unique milk-carton-inspired look, making them more visually distinctive than many compact Bluetooth speakers in the same price range.
Both models are designed for everyday listening, whether at home, outdoors, or at a gathering. Their waterproof build makes them more practical for poolside use, beach trips, kitchens, bathrooms, and unpredictable weather. For users looking for a speaker that is easy to carry but still feature-rich, the CMF Speaker S and Speaker M are positioned as budget-friendly options with several useful upgrades.
One of the key highlights is support for stereo pairing. Users can connect two identical speakers together to create a wider left-and-right soundstage, improving the listening experience for music, movies, or casual gaming. This is especially useful for those who want more immersive audio without buying a larger speaker system.
The speakers also support Bluetooth Auracast, allowing multiple compatible speakers to connect for a party-style audio setup. Unlike traditional Bluetooth pairing, Auracast can work across supported speakers from different manufacturers, making it easier to expand sound coverage in a room or outdoor space.
Nothing has also included Bluetooth 6.0 support, giving the CMF Speaker S and Speaker M a more future-ready wireless setup. Bluetooth Multipoint is another important addition, letting users connect two audio sources at the same time. For example, you could keep the speaker connected to both a smartphone and a laptop, then switch between music, calls, or videos without constantly disconnecting and reconnecting devices.
For situations where low latency matters, such as watching videos or gaming, the speakers can also play audio through a wired USB-C connection. This gives users more flexibility and helps reduce delay compared with standard wireless playback.
The CMF Speaker S is the smaller and more affordable model, priced at $59. The larger CMF Speaker M costs $109. Both speakers are already available through Amazon.
With waterproof protection, Bluetooth 6.0, Auracast support, stereo pairing, Multipoint connectivity, and USB-C wired playback, the Nothing CMF Speaker S and Speaker M offer a strong mix of style, portability, and practical features for their price.
