MSI’s Limited-Edition Mandalorian RTX 5080 Brings Swappable Armor to Just 500 EU GPUs

MSI has unveiled a special GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card designed for Star Wars fans and PC collectors. The new Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu GeForce RTX 5080 OC Edition brings a movie-inspired design to Nvidia’s high-end RTX 50 series lineup, combining gaming performance with a limited-edition look based on Din Djarin and Grogu.

This collector-focused GPU will be extremely limited, with only 500 units planned for release across the European Union. MSI is positioning the card as a special regional launch, making it one of the more exclusive custom RTX 5080 models expected to arrive in 2026.

The design is the main attraction. MSI has styled the card around The Mandalorian’s iconic armor, using a brown and grey color scheme that gives the GPU a rugged, Star Wars-inspired appearance. The card uses a triple-fan cooling layout similar to MSI’s GeForce RTX 5080 16G Gaming TRIO model, but with custom visuals that set it apart from standard gaming graphics cards.

The side of the GPU features The Mandalorian’s helmet, while the premium backplate includes themed accents inspired by Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. MSI is also adding a customizable element to the design. Buyers will receive four interchangeable backplate plates, allowing them to choose between designs featuring The Mandalorian helmet, Grogu, the New Republic emblem, and the Imperial Remnants emblem.

To complete the themed package, MSI is including a Grogu-inspired VGA holder. This accessory is designed to support the graphics card and reduce GPU sag, while also matching the overall Star Wars aesthetic of the build. For PC builders who care about both performance and presentation, this could make the card especially appealing for showcase gaming PCs.

The Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu GeForce RTX 5080 OC Edition is scheduled to go on sale on May 22, 2026, the same day The Mandalorian and Grogu is set to arrive in theaters. MSI says the GPU will be available through select retail partners in EU countries, as well as through its own online store.

Pricing has not yet been announced, but given the limited production run, custom design, and collector-focused packaging, this RTX 5080 edition is expected to attract strong interest from Star Wars fans, GPU collectors, and high-end PC gaming enthusiasts. With only 500 units being produced, availability may be extremely tight once sales begin.
