Motorola Razr 70 Swarovski Edition Teased Ahead of IFA 2026 With a More Elegant Crystal Design
Motorola is preparing to bring more sparkle to the foldable phone market with a new Swarovski-branded Razr device set to debut at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The company recently teased the upcoming collaboration, giving fans an early look at what appears to be a special edition Motorola Razr 70 with a crystal-covered design.
The teaser reveals the rear of a Razr-style foldable phone finished in black, featuring a diamond-patterned texture and subtle crystal accents. The look strongly suggests that Motorola is taking a more refined approach this year compared to the previous Razr 60 Swarovski Edition, which leaned heavily into a flashier luxury aesthetic.
This time, the black finish gives the device a more sophisticated appearance while still keeping the signature Swarovski shine. The crystal detailing appears to be arranged across the rear panel, with the overall design blending fashion and technology in a way that targets users who want their smartphone to stand out without looking overly extravagant.
Earlier leaked renders of the Motorola Razr 70 Swarovski Edition showed a quilted black back panel covered with small crystals, along with a larger centerpiece gem placed near the hinge. Additional crystal accents were also shown below the external display. Motorola’s official teaser appears to match those images closely, making it increasingly likely that the final product will follow that design.
While the special edition model is expected to focus mainly on visual upgrades, the core hardware will likely remain similar to the standard Motorola Razr 70. That means buyers can expect a 6.9-inch internal OLED display, a 3.6-inch cover screen that wraps around the dual rear cameras, and a 4,500 mAh battery.
The camera setup is also expected to stay unchanged, with two 50MP rear cameras and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. This should make the Swarovski Edition more than just a fashion accessory, offering the same foldable phone experience as the regular Razr 70 while adding a premium designer finish.
The retail package may also include a clear protective case, allowing users to protect the phone while still showing off the crystal-covered back. A USB-C cable and a 33W charger are also rumored to be included, which would be slightly above the 30W wired charging figure associated with the standard version.
Motorola has not yet confirmed pricing or the exact release date for the Razr 70 Swarovski Edition. However, last year’s crystal-covered Razr model launched at around $200 more than the standard version. If Motorola follows a similar strategy, the new Swarovski Edition could arrive close to the $1,000 price range.
The upcoming device is expected to be part of Motorola’s Brilliant Collection, a lineup that highlights the company’s growing interest in positioning foldable phones as lifestyle and fashion products, not just everyday tech devices.
With its combination of a foldable OLED display, stylish black crystal design, and luxury branding, the Motorola Razr 70 Swarovski Edition could appeal to buyers looking for a premium flip phone with a stronger focus on personal style. Full details, including availability, final specifications, and pricing, are expected to be revealed during IFA 2026 in Berlin.
