Motorola Signature Leak Reveals Sleek Curved-Edge Screen in New Photos

Fresh leaked images are giving smartphone fans their clearest look yet at Motorola’s next big Android flagship, a device expected to launch under a new name: the Motorola Signature. Earlier leaks hinted at the design by only showing the rear panel of what was believed to be the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra, but new photos now reveal both the front and back, along with several key hardware clues.

The Motorola Signature appears in two striking finishes called Carbon and Martini Olive. Both colors look like they use a fabric-style texture rather than typical glossy glass, which could help the phone stand out in a sea of similar-looking flagships while also improving grip. Around the back, the camera module is framed by what looks like a brushed metal camera island, giving the device a more premium, “signature” feel that matches the name.

Camera hardware is clearly a major focus. The leak indicates a triple rear camera setup, and one of the lenses is confirmed to be a telephoto camera, suggesting Motorola is aiming at true flagship versatility rather than relying only on wide and ultra-wide lenses. There’s also text near the LED flash that points to several notable features: a Sony Lytia image sensor, optical image stabilization for sharper photos and steadier video, and Dolby Vision support for enhanced HDR video capture and playback.

For the first time, the front design is also visible. The Motorola Signature has a curved display with a centered punch-hole camera cutout. That’s important because it signals Motorola is sticking with the curved-screen look on this flagship model, even as some recent devices in the same family moved away from it. Curved screens tend to divide opinions—some people love the immersive feel and premium styling, while others prefer flat panels for fewer accidental touches and easier screen protector use—so this choice could be a deciding factor for potential buyers.

One small detail in the leak is sparking speculation about timing. The home screen shown in the images displays “Thursday, April 23,” a date that lines up correctly with the 2026 calendar. It could simply be a placeholder set for promotional images, but it may also hint at a possible release window. That said, given how frequently the phone has been appearing in leaks, an official announcement could happen sooner than that.

As for expected specs, the Motorola Signature is shaping up to be a serious Android flagship. It’s rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM, and it’s expected to ship with Android 16 right out of the box. Display details have also surfaced: a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. Some reports previously claimed the panel would be flat, but the newly leaked images strongly suggest the opposite—at least for this model.

With premium materials, a telephoto-equipped triple camera system, and top-tier performance hardware, the Motorola Signature looks like it’s being positioned as the start of a new flagship identity for Motorola. If the leaks are accurate, this could be one of the company’s most competitive high-end Android phones in years.
