Motorola is gearing up for the launch of its latest mid-range marvel, the Moto G96, which is poised to change the game in 2025. Reportedly set to feature a display as responsive as last year’s flagship, this smartphone promises an exciting array of features and eye-catching Pantone Curated Colors.
The recently released Moto G85, known for its affordable price and stunning 120Hz pOLED display, is making way for the G96. According to leaker Mukul Sharma, the G96 will boast a display resembling the Edge 50 Ultra’s, though with an FHD+ resolution and peak brightness of 1,600 nits. It may also feature a 144Hz refresh rate similar to the 2024 flagship model.
There’s more to anticipate, as the G96 is expected to offer a vibrant pOLED panel capable of reproducing 10-bit color across the full DCI-P3 gamut. Adding to its allure, the screen is rumored to be curved, setting it apart from many of its competitors.
Under the hood, the G96 might run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. However, what it lacks in cutting-edge processing power, it makes up for with a robust IP68-rated build and a selection of trendy Pantone Curated Colors, including a striking shade of Hot Pink.
