Motorola Moto G77 Power arrives with a massive 7,000 mAh battery and 120 Hz display
Motorola has introduced the Moto G77 Power, a new mid-range smartphone built for users who want long battery life, a large display, and reliable everyday performance. As its name suggests, the biggest highlight is power: the phone comes with a huge 7,000 mAh battery, making it a strong option for buyers who prioritize all-day and multi-day usage.
Compared with the standard Moto G77, the Moto G77 Power makes a few notable changes, especially in the display and camera departments. Instead of an AMOLED screen, Motorola has equipped the Power model with an LCD panel. Even so, the display remains competitive for its category, offering a 6.72-inch size, Full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,050 nits.
The camera setup has also been adjusted. The 108 MP main camera found on the regular model has been replaced by a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and Sony LYT-600 sensor. It is joined by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, giving users more flexibility for landscape shots, group photos, and wider scenes. On the front, the Moto G77 Power features a 32 MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
On the software side, the Moto G77 Power ships with Android 16. However, one drawback is Motorola’s expected update policy for this model. The device is likely to receive only one major Android version upgrade, along with three years of security updates. For buyers who keep their phones for several years, this may be an important point to consider.
The Motorola Moto G77 Power will launch first in India. It will be sold in a single configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, priced at INR 25,999, which is approximately $272. Motorola has not yet announced whether the Moto G77 Power will be released in other global markets.
With its large battery, 120 Hz display, 50 MP Sony sensor camera, and mid-range pricing, the Moto G77 Power is positioned as a practical smartphone for users who want strong endurance without moving into flagship pricing.
