The device still runs on the Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100 processor, giving it the same modern ARM-based platform as the higher-priced configuration. It also keeps the 90 Hz display, which should make scrolling, writing, and general navigation feel smoother than on a standard 60 Hz screen.
