Meta Glasses Charging Stand launches as a $59 official desktop charger for smart glasses
Meta has introduced an official charging stand for its smart glasses, giving users a cleaner and more convenient way to power up their eyewear at home, in the office, or on a bedside table.
The new Meta Glasses Charging Stand is designed for people who want an extra charger outside of the standard charging case that comes with Meta’s smart glasses. Instead of opening a case every time, users can simply fold the temples, place the glasses into the stand’s ridge, and let them charge.
The charger has a sleek cross-cut cylinder design with a stainless steel shell and a rubber foot to help keep it steady on a desk or nightstand. Around the back, there is a USB-C port, although buyers will need to provide their own USB-C cable and power adapter, as they are not included in the box.
Meta says the stand can charge supported smart glasses to 50% in about 20 minutes. A full charge takes a little over an hour, making it useful for quick top-ups before heading out. An LED indicator on the stand shows the charging status: orange means the glasses are charging, while green indicates they are fully charged.
The Meta Glasses Charging Stand is priced at $59 and is available through Meta’s official store and physical retail locations.
However, compatibility is important. The stand works with several Meta smart glasses models, but not all of them. Supported models include:
Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer
Ray-Ban Meta Skyler
Ray-Ban Meta Headliner
Ray-Ban Meta Blayzer Optics
Ray-Ban Meta Scriber Optics
Oakley Meta HSTN
Meta Fury
Meta Adventurer
Meta Starfire
The charging stand is not compatible with Meta Ray-Ban Display or Oakley Meta Vanguard.
While there are cheaper third-party charging docks available for Meta smart glasses, Meta’s official option may appeal to users who want a premium-looking accessory with confirmed support for select models. Still, anyone considering an alternative charger should carefully check compatibility before buying, as not every dock works with every pair of Meta glasses.
For users who wear their Ray-Ban Meta or Oakley Meta smart glasses daily, this charging stand could be a practical upgrade. It keeps the glasses visible, accessible, and ready to go without relying only on the included charging case.
