Medieval Survival Game Fusing Death Stranding and RDR2 Set for Year-End Launch

Excitement is building around the highly anticipated game, Windstrom: The Legend of Khiimori, set to blend elements of Death Stranding and Red Dead Redemption 2. Despite no confirmed release date, it’s scheduled for the end of 2025, and the recently released trailer has already got the gaming community buzzing.

This intriguing game, now in alpha, transports players to the 13th century in the vast landscapes of Mongolia. Much like the celebrated Death Stranding series, players will embark on missions through diverse terrains, delivering crucial items like medicine across challenging environments that range from lush forests to expansive plains.

A unique twist is the inclusion of a loyal horse companion, akin to the bond found in Red Dead Redemption 2. Players will nurture this bond, taming the wild and training horses with special abilities to fully explore the captivating landscapes. The development team has been working diligently with real horses to ensure an authentic experience.

Already a sensation, Windstrom: The Legend of Khiimori has captured attention with over 12,000 followers on SteamDB and more than 100,000 wish list additions. Its Kickstarter campaign exceeded expectations, raising over $500,000 against an initial $60,000 target, signifying the high level of anticipation.

Gamers can look forward to its release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Fans of expansive adventures and dynamic storytelling should definitely keep an eye on this promising title.
