Just three months after the U.S. unexpectedly suspended shipments of downgraded AI chips to China in April, Nvidia’s CEO, Jensen Huang, made a notable return to the country in mid-July. During this visit, he brought some exciting news: Washington has approved the H20, a China-specific version of Nvidia’s AI accelerator. Unlike his previous tense visit, Huang seemed upbeat and positive, reflecting a more hopeful tone for future collaborations.
