Dragami Games is ready to bring Lollipop Chainsaw back into the spotlight. The publisher has confirmed that the next game in the cult-favorite zombie action series will receive its first playable demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026, giving fans their earliest hands-on look at Juliet Starling’s long-awaited return.
Tokyo Game Show 2026 will take place from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. During the event, attendees will be able to try the new Lollipop Chainsaw title at the SEGA/ATLUS booth, located in the Sega Partners Corner.
The upcoming game was first teased in July 2025, when Dragami Games revealed that a new Lollipop Chainsaw project was in development alongside an anime adaptation. The project is being created in partnership with Taiwan-based Nada Holdings. Until now, however, fans had only limited information about what to expect. The Tokyo Game Show demo will mark the game’s first major public appearance.
Four demo stations will be available on the show floor, allowing visitors to experience the new title throughout the event. While the game’s official name has not yet been announced, the playable demo should offer the first real glimpse at its combat, visual direction, and overall tone.
Juliet Starling, the cheerleader-turned-zombie-slayer who helped make the original Lollipop Chainsaw a memorable action game, is also returning with a redesigned outfit. Fans attending the booth will be able to see the updated look up close, with official ambassador and cosplayer PeachMilky appearing in Juliet’s new costume.
Dragami Games is also preparing several extras for visitors. The booth will feature a life-size chainsaw display designed as a photo spot, giving fans a chance to capture the game’s over-the-top style in person. Players who complete the demo will receive an exclusive keychain, while all visitors can pick up promotional logo stickers while supplies last.
The Tokyo Game Show appearance will also include two stage events focused on the new Lollipop Chainsaw project. The first presentation is scheduled for September 18 at 11:40 a.m. JST on the SEGA/ATLUS booth stage. This 30-minute session will introduce members of the development team and share behind-the-scenes details about the game’s progress.
A second, larger showcase will take place on September 19 at 9:40 a.m. JST on the main Tokyo Game Show stage. This 50-minute presentation will feature director Mr. Nasu and JP Universe CEO Hajime Tabata. Dragami Games has teased that a major project announcement will be made during the event, though the company has not yet revealed what that announcement will involve.
Despite the excitement, several major details remain unknown. Dragami Games has not confirmed the game’s official title, release date, or target platforms. It is also unclear how closely the new project will connect to the original Lollipop Chainsaw, which gained a loyal following for its fast-paced action, punk-rock attitude, and bizarre horror-comedy style.
Another key point is that original director Goichi Suda and Grasshopper Manufacture are not currently attached to this new entry. That leaves many fans curious about how the upcoming game will balance nostalgia with a fresh creative direction.
