Logitech MX Master 4 Special Edition Surfaces Early in Surprise Leak

Logitech MX Master 4 Special Edition Leak Reveals New Design With Red Accents

A special edition version of the Logitech MX Master 4 appears to be on the way, and a fresh leak has now revealed what could be its final design. While earlier rumors only hinted at the existence of a new variant, the latest details suggest that Logitech is preparing a visually refreshed model rather than a major hardware upgrade.

According to the leak, the Logitech MX Master 4 Special Edition keeps the same overall shape and feature set as the standard model but introduces a more eye-catching finish. The design seems to be based on the Pale Gray version of the MX Master 4, now enhanced with red styling elements and darker side grips.

The most noticeable change is on the top surface. The left-click button appears to feature a textured graphic design with red detailing, while the right-click button includes a red “Special Edition” label. The DPI button has also been changed to red, giving the mouse a sportier and more distinctive look.

The side areas receive their own update as well. Instead of the lighter grips found on the regular Pale Gray version, the Special Edition appears to use black or dark gray grips on the left and right sides. A red-to-pink gradient scale also appears beneath the left grip, adding another visual touch that helps separate this model from the standard release.

Despite the updated appearance, the Logitech MX Master 4 Special Edition is not expected to bring major specification changes. The mouse is said to retain the same core features, including up to 8,000 DPI sensitivity, eight programmable buttons, a gesture button, the MagSpeed scroll wheel, a horizontal scroll wheel, and a 650 mAh battery.

Battery life is also expected to remain the same, with Logitech claiming up to 70 days of use on a full charge. That makes the Special Edition less of a performance upgrade and more of a collector-style or design-focused version for users who want a more unique-looking productivity mouse.

The Logitech MX Master series has long been popular among professionals, creators, and productivity-focused users thanks to its ergonomic shape, customizable controls, and smooth scrolling system. If the leaked design is accurate, the MX Master 4 Special Edition could appeal to fans of the lineup who want the same high-end wireless mouse experience with a bolder appearance.

Pricing and release details have not been confirmed yet. However, with design images and key information now surfacing, an official announcement may not be far away. For now, the Logitech MX Master 4 Special Edition looks like a stylish refresh of one of Logitech’s most recognizable productivity mice, offering familiar performance in a more distinctive color scheme.
