LG Unveils Exciting Update to 34-Inch UltraGear OLED Gaming Display

LG has unveiled its latest addition to the OLED gaming monitor lineup with the UltraGear OLED 34GX900A, a 34-inch marvel packed with advanced features. Designed with gamers in mind, this monitor boasts AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility to ensure smooth gameplay.

The UltraGear OLED 34GX900A builds upon its predecessor, the UltraGear OLED 34GS95QE, by integrating a Gen 2 WOLED panel. This new model stands out with a 65 W capable USB Type-C port and dual 7 W speakers, enhancing both connectivity and sound.

This monitor retains a sleek dark grey finish with striking purple backlighting. It delivers a crisp 1440p resolution on a 21:9 aspect ratio screen and impresses with a lightning-fast 0.03 ms GtG response time and a 240 Hz refresh rate. Connectivity options include a variety of ports: DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-A, and the versatile USB Type-C for power delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode.

While it adds the USB Type-C port, it drops the USB Type-B port from previous models. Despite losing the Gigabit Ethernet connection, it includes robust audio with its built-in stereo speakers.

Available now in the US and Hong Kong, the UltraGear OLED 34GX900A is priced competitively at $1,299 and HK$8,280 (~$1,055), respectively. For those keen to learn more about its comprehensive specs, LG’s product listing offers all the details.
