LG is expanding its portable smart TV lineup with the new LG StandbyMe 2 Max, a larger, more premium model built for people who want a big screen they can move anywhere around the home. With a 32-inch 4K touchscreen mounted on wheels, it’s designed for flexible viewing in spaces like the living room, kitchen, bedroom, or even a home office.
Despite being a full-featured smart TV, the StandbyMe 2 Max is made to work away from a wall outlet. It weighs 20.3 kilograms and includes a 144 Wh built-in battery, which LG says can deliver up to 4 hours and 30 minutes of runtime on a charge. When it’s time to top up, charging is handled via USB-C, keeping the setup simple and more compatible with modern charging solutions.
Audio is covered by an integrated 10-watt speaker system, aimed at everyday streaming and casual viewing without needing external speakers. For connectivity, LG includes HDMI for wired devices such as game consoles, streaming boxes, or other media players. On the wireless side, Wi‑Fi 6E is on board to help support smoother streaming and faster network performance, especially in homes with many connected devices.
Software-wise, the StandbyMe 2 Max runs webOS 26, giving access to popular streaming apps and smart TV features in LG’s familiar interface. Combined with the touchscreen design and portable stand, it’s positioned as a TV you can roll into place for movie nights, workouts, cooking videos, gaming sessions, or background entertainment while you work.
