Lenovo may be best known for laptops, desktop PCs, and monitors, but the brand is also steadily growing its wearable lineup. The latest addition is the Lenovo Watch GT Pro, a new outdoor-focused smartwatch built for athletes and adventure lovers who want rugged styling, GPS tracking, and water-ready durability without paying premium flagship prices.
Designed with a bold, sporty look, the Watch GT Pro doesn’t try to blend in. It features visible screws, a relatively thick bezel, and multiple physical controls on the right side, including dedicated buttons and a rotating crown. The casing is made from a zinc-magnesium alloy, a material choice that signals durability for everyday training and outdoor use. Lenovo also added Corning protective glass over the display to help reduce the risk of scratches and damage during tougher activities.
On the front, the Watch GT Pro uses a 1.43-inch display with a sharp 466 x 466 resolution, aiming to keep workout stats, maps, and health data easy to read. For fitness tracking, the smartwatch includes an integrated GPS module, which is especially useful for logging distance during runs, hikes, and cycling sessions with better accuracy than step-based estimates. Lenovo also positions this model as swim-friendly, thanks to a 5 ATM waterproof rating, making it suitable for pool workouts and water-based training.
Health and wellness tracking are also part of the package. The Watch GT Pro includes optical sensors for monitoring heart rate and blood oxygen saturation, features commonly used for workout intensity tracking, recovery insights, and general health awareness. For outdoor navigation and elevation-related data, Lenovo has included a barometer and compass, tools that can be helpful during hikes and trail activities.
Battery life is another major selling point. The Watch GT Pro packs a 470mAh battery, with Lenovo claiming runtime ranging from 7 to 27 days depending on usage. Real-world endurance will likely vary based on GPS use, display settings, and how often sensors are active, but even the low end of that estimate is competitive for an outdoor-oriented smartwatch.
In China, the Lenovo Watch GT Pro is priced at around $130, positioning it as a value-oriented rugged smartwatch option for users who want GPS, water resistance, and advanced sensors without spending several hundred dollars. Lenovo hasn’t shared details yet about international availability or a global release date.
